Below is a quick outline of important information regarding 2025 W-2s, along with common questions and answers you may receive. The most recent update will be will OT be separated and the answer is YES there will be a separate box on your W2 (BOX 14) where the OT that shouldn’t be taxed will be located.
Overtime (OT) Tax Reporting on W-2s
In response to questions regarding the taxation of overtime (OT), please note the following:
Overtime wages are included in total taxable wages.
However, the premium portion of overtime that is non-taxable will be displayed separately on the W-2.
Employees can reference Box 14 on their W-2 to view the non-taxable overtime amount.
W-2 Distribution & Important Dates
The information below includes key dates and contact details in preparation for W-2 distribution. Please read this entire message before contacting any department with questions.
W-2s for current and former employees will be:
Mailed to the address on file, and
Uploaded to LISA around January 31
W-2s will not be available prior to January 31

W-2 FAQs
W-2s are mailed to the address on file as of December 31.
Address updates are not immediate and may take 2–3 days to process.
Please wait until February 15 before requesting a reprint.
Reprint requests received prior to February 15 will be discarded.
W-2s for all Allied Universal employees are accessible via LISA.
Former employees separated within 18 months can access LISA.
Former employees separated longer than 18 months who did not receive a mailed W-2 may email W2@aus.com with required identifying information.
Former employees with company email addresses must update to a personal email before registering in LISA (contact HR).
Former employees without a company email must contact their prior local branch office.
Tax Withholding Updates
Federal Income Tax tables for 2026 have changed.
Employees may notice changes in Federal withholding.
Use the IRS Withholding Calculator (ensure tax year 2026 is selected).

New W-4 forms can be submitted via LISA.
Employees claiming Federal tax exemption must submit a new W-4 by February 15 to maintain exemption.
No Tax on Overtime – One Big Beautiful Bill Act
This legislation does not change employee paychecks.
The tax benefit is applied when filing annual taxes, not during payroll.
Employees are not subject to Federal tax on the premium portion of overtime pay.
The premium overtime amount will appear in Box 14 of the W-2.

Common Questions & Answers
Q: My W-2 is missing a control number.
A: Only the mailed W-2 includes a control number. LISA copies do not. Employees may file without it or wait for the mailed copy.
Q: My Social Security withholding looks incorrect.
A: Multiply Box 3 wages by 6.2%. If the result equals Box 4, it is correct. Otherwise, email W2@aus.com.
Q: I need a W-2 for a deceased employee.
A: Submit a copy of the death certificate and power of attorney. A copy will be issued.
Q: My address is incorrect on my W-2.
A: Taxes may still be filed. Update the address in LISA for future records.
Q: My name is incorrect on my W-2.
A: Taxes cannot be filed until corrected. Email a copy of the Social Security card and driver’s license to W2@aus.com. A W-2c will be issued.
Q: My Box 1 wages do not match my gross pay.
A: Box 1 reflects taxable wages, which exclude pre-tax deductions (benefits, 401(k), etc.).
Q: My Social Security number is incorrect.
A: Email a copy of the Social Security card and driver’s license to W2@aus.com. A W-2c will be issued.
